Kooperatiba sa Zambo del Sur tumanggap ng Php 3.2-M halaga ng makinarya at mga kagamitang pang-sakahan

Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur – Sa layuning patuloy na maiangat ang antas ng pamumuhay at mapataas ang ani ng mga magsasaka sa lugar na ito ay nagkaloob ang Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) ng suportang serbisyo na nagkakahalaga ng Php 3.2-milyon sa dalawang (2) agrarian reform beneficiaries’ organizations (ARBOs) nuong December 17, 2020. 

Nakatanggap ang Campo IV Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries and Farmers Cooperative (CIVCABEFAMCO) sa bayan ng Ramon Magsaysay ng Php 1.15- milyong delivery truck at Php 1.2-milyong multi-purpose building/warehouse na pakikinabangan ng 379 magsasaka, samantalang ang Lower Tiparak Tambulig Irrigator Association (LOWTIPTAM, IA) sa munisipalidad ng Tambulig ay tumanggap ng Php 950,000 halaga ng 4-wheel drive tractor na pakikinabangan ng 226 na magsasaka.

Ayon kay Department of Agrarian Reform Secretary Brother John Castriciones ay patuloy na nagkakaloob ng mga suportang serbisyo sa mga mga agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) bilang pagpapakita na sila ay mahalaga sa administrasyon ito dahil sa patuloy nilang pagkakaloob ng seguridad ng pagkain sa bansa. 

“Ngayong panahon ng pandemya naipakita ang importansiya ng sektor na ng agrikultura. Maraming tao ang nawalan ng pagkakakitaan at tumigil magtrabaho. Subalit ang ating mga magsasaka ay hindi tumigil sa kanilang pagsasaka, sa gitna ng krisis na ating kinahaharap. Patuloy silang nagbibigay ng maihahaing pagkain sa ating mga mesa. Kaya nararapat lamang na ibigay natin ang lahat ng suporta na maibibigay natin sa kanila,” ani Brother John.

Sinabi naman ni Ramon Magsaysay Mayor Leonilo Borinaga Sr.  na ito ang kauna-unahang pagkakataon na may bumisita na Secretary ng DAR sa  kanilang bayan upang mamahagi ng mga proyekto sa mga magsasaka. 

Ang mga proyektong ipinagkaloob sa CIVCAVEFAMCO ay ipinatutupad sa ilalim ng Project Convergence on Value Chain Enhancement for Rural Growth and Empowerment (Project ConVERGE) at ang ibingay naman sa LOWTIPTAM, IA’s ay sa pamamagitan ng Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Project (CRFPSP). 

Sa ngalan ng CIVCAVEFAMCO, sinabi ni Manager Rosevilla Salceda bilang pasasalamat sa DAR sa mga proyektong kanilang tinanggap: “Ang DAR ay instrumento upang bumuti ang aming kondisyon sa pamumuhay.”### (Public Assistance and Media Relations Service, Department of Agrarian Reform)
