The LINGAP Philippines – Special Education Program marked a significant milestone on Thursday, October 9, 2025, as it celebrated its 9th Year Anniversary with a heartfelt and humble celebration themed “Special Tayo.”

The event, held in Masantol, Pampanga, was a testament to nearly a decade of dedicated service focused on nurturing the abilities, emotional resilience, and personal development of learners with special needs.
In a message of gratitude, the organization reaffirmed its core mission to be an integral part of community development. “Sinisikap po ng LINGAP Philippines – Special Education Program na ipagpatuloy ang adhikain na maging bahagi ng pag-unlad ng komunidad lalo ng ating mga learners na may natatanging pangagailangan,” the statement read, underscoring its commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.

The anniversary celebration served as an opportunity to honor the partners and individuals whose unwavering support has been instrumental in the program’s longevity and success. Special thanks were extended to Ms. Rose Silva, RSW of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), and Masantol Municipal Mayor, Hon. Danilo S. Guintu, for their “hindi matatawarang pagmamahal at suporta” over the past nine years.
The organization also expressed profound gratitude to the wider community that has rallied behind its cause. This includes parents, students, volunteers, mentors, teachers, partners, “special friends,” the entire LINGAP Team, and the PWD Presidents of Masantol.
Acknowledging the collective effort, the program shared an uplifting message: “Biyaya ang buhay kung kaya’t manatiling may ngiti at pag-asa.” The celebration concluded with a forward-looking sentiment, hoping for “mas marami pang taon ng pagsasama” and a reaffirmation of faith, stating, “God Almighty, ikaw po ang aming pastol.”
The 9th-anniversary celebration of LINGAP Philippines not only commemorated past achievements but also reinforced its enduring vision to continue empowering special learners and enriching the community for many years to come.#
