Bong Go Tops Tangere Senatorial Preferential Survey; Bato Dela Rosa Sees Significant Rise

In the latest 2025 Pre-Election Senatorial Preferential Survey conducted by Tangere, Senator Bong Go has emerged as the clear frontrunner, securing 59.3% voter preference. Go’s popularity spans the Top 3 across all 17 regions of the country, establishing his stronghold among the electorate.

Trailing behind Go in second place is ACT-CIS representative Erwin Tulfo, who garnered 55.1% voter preference, particularly appealing to constituents in Northern and Central Luzon.

A statistical tie for third place features Senator Bato Dela Rosa, Media Executive Ben ‘Bitag’ Tulfo, and Senator Bong Revilla. Notably, Tulfo has shown greater resonance with millennial and Gen Z voters, while his brother maintains stronger support among older demographics. Dela Rosa has made a remarkable advancement in the survey, showing an increase of over 10% in voter preference, largely attributed to robust backing from regions in Visayas and Mindanao.

Top 12 Senatorial Candidates: Bong Go – 59.3%; Erwin Tulfo – 55.1%; Bato Dela Rosa – Statistical tie
Ben ‘Bitag’ Tulfo – Statistical tie; Bong Revilla – Statistical tie 5-6; Tito Sotto – 45.0%; Pia Cayetano – 41.5%; Ben Abalos – 40.6% (notable increase from Southern Luzon and Bicol Region); Lito Lapid – 40.3%; Panfilo Lacson – 39.2% 11-13; Manny Pacquiao – 36.3% 12-18; Francis Tolentino – 35.0% (notable gains in Central Luzon and Metro Manila).

Impact of VP Sara Duterte’s Endorsement
Candidates recently endorsed by Vice President Sara Duterte have experienced significant gains in Mindanao. Congresswoman Camille Villar recorded a 2% increase in voter preference, currently statistically tied at 11-13th place with 34.5%. Senator Imee Marcos saw an even greater increase of 3.75%, now statistically tied at 12-18th with 33.5%. However, it is noteworthy that Senator Marcos faced a decline in Northern Luzon following the Vice President’s endorsement.

As the election season heats up, the implications of these survey results are set to influence campaign strategies as candidates seek to solidify their standing ahead of the polls.#
