Food relief at educational assistance sa mga biktima ng Bagyong Kristine sa Bicol mula sa PCSO

Naghatid ng tulong ang Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) sa libu-libong residente sa rehiyon ng Bicol na lubhang naapektuhan ng Bagyong Kristine.

Mula Nobyembre 7 hanggang 9, 2024 ang PCSO Board of Directors na binubuo ng mga miyembrong sina Janet De Leon Mercado, Jennifer Liongson-Guevara, at dating Bise Gobernador ng Camarines Sur Imelda Papin, ay nagtrabaho kasama ng mga empleyado ng PCSO at mga opisyal ng lokal na pamahalaan upang matiyak na ang agarang tulong ay makakarating sa mga na higit na naapektuhan ng bagyo.

Target ng distribution efforts ang iba’t ibang lugar sa Camarines Sur, kabilang ang mga munisipalidad ng Libmanan, Pamplona, ​​Bula, Nabua, Buhi, San Jose, Tinambac, Lagonoy, at Magarao. Nagpaabot din ng tulong ang PCSO sa mga komunidad ng Tiwi at Rapu-Rapu sa Albay.

Higit pa sa pagbibigay ng agarang tulong sa pagkain, ipinakita ng PCSO ang kanilang pangako sa pangmatagalang suporta sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng 50 grant na tulong pang-edukasyon sa mga mag-aaral sa Libmanan at Pamplona, ​​Camarines Sur. Ang inisyatiba na ito ay naglalayong tulungan ang mga mag-aaral na ipagpatuloy ang kanilang pag-aaral habang naliligalig dahil sa epekto ng bagyo.

Ang mga pagkilos na ito ay naaayon sa pangunahing mandato ng PCSO na tulungan ang mga mamamayang Pilipino at ang dedikasyon ng ahensya sa programang Corporate Social Responsibility nito.

Nananatiling nakatuon ang PCSO sa pagsuporta sa mga komunidad sa oras ng pangangailangan, tinitiyak na matatanggap ng mga Pilipino ang tulong na kailangan nila para makabangon at muling makabuo.#
