NHA magpapatupad ng Moratorium dahil sa bagyong Kristine

Dahil sa pinsalang dulot Ng Bagyong Kristine, ang National Housing Authority (NHA) sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni General Manager Joeben Tai ay magpapatupad ng isang buwang moratorium sa pagbabayad ng amortization at lease para sa lahat ng mga benepisyaryo ng pabahay nito.

Ang Moratorium ay awtomatikong ipatutupad para sa mga benepisyaryo sa buong bansa mula Nobyembre 1-30, 2024. Magsisimula muli ang pagbabayad ng amortization at lease sa Disyembre 1, 2024.

Dagdag pa rito, walang ipapataw na delinquency o karagdagang interes sa panahon ng moratorium hanggang Nobyembre 30, 2024. Anumang penalties at interes na naipon bago ang Nobyembre 1, 2024, ay muling magsisimula sa Disyembre 1, 2024.

Ayon sa pahayag ni NHA GM Tai, “Ang layunin ng patakarang ito ay magbibigay ng ginhawa sa mga indibidwal at pamilyang naapektuhan ng matinding pinsala dulot ng bagyo.”

Ang mga pamilya ay pinapaalalahanan na hindi na kailangan pang mag-apply para sa moratorium na ito.

Noong Hulyo ng taong ito, nagpatupad din ang NHA ng moratorium policy para sa mga benepisyaryong naapektuhan ng Typhoon Carina sa National Capital Region (NCR), sa mga Rehiyon III at IV.

Higit pa sa mga pagbibigay ng mga pabahay, nakatuon din ang NHA sa pagtulong sa mga komunidad na naapektuhan ng mga sakuna upang makabangon at mapabuti ang kanilang kalagayan.#
