CFW Courtesy call with the DOLE Senior Officials

The Confederation of Filipino Workers (CFW) pays a courtesy visit to Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma and Undersecretary Atty. Benedicto Ernesto R. Bitonio Jr. at the OSEC Conference Room, DOLE Building, Intramuros, Manila on February 7. Represented by its National President Gabriel Aranzamendez (photo below, center) and Vice President for Finance Angelina De Ocampo (photo below, left), together with the representatives of three local unions – Elwin Sebastian (photo below, 2nd from left), Vice President of CFW Bataan, Marcelo Mendoza (photo below, 2nd from right), Union President of Universal Weavers, and Randy Sarmiento (photo below, right), Local Vice President of Universal Weavers, the CFW also aired their concern pertaining to their members’ working conditions and status in the company they are working for; and sought assistance in availing the services and programs of the Department to help augment the income of their members.
