PHILIPPINE CHINESE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY, INC. (PCCCII) AT CHINA INVESTMENT AND REAL ESTATE CO., LTD NAGKALOOB NG 10 MILYONG HALAGA NG DONASYON SA DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT (DSWD)

Tinanggap ni Asec. Romel Lopez ng Kagawaran ng Kagalingan at Pagpapaunlad Panlipunan sa National Resource Operations Center (NROC), Pasay City ang trak-trak ng bigas na nagkakahalaga ng Php10M.
Hinandog ng Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) bilang donasyon ng China Investment and Real Estate Co. Ltd. para sa mga biktima ng magnitude 7.0 na lindol sa Regions CAR at Ilocos.

Isinagawa ang turn-over ceremony kaninang umaga sa Saturday, August 6, 10am, at DSWD National Resource Operation Center, Chapel Road, near Airport Road, at the back of CAAP Bld., Pasay City ng Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (PCCCII) at China Investment and Real Estate Co., Ltd. para sa mga biktima ng lindol sa rehiyon ng Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR) at Ilocos.

Matatandaang nitong Agosto 2, ang PCCCII sa pangunguna ni Pangulong Lugene Ang kasama ang Chinese Empbassy sa Pilipinas ay nakapagbigay na ng 10-milyong halaga ng relief good o katumbas ng 58,000 sako ng bigas.

Naging daan ito upang ang kaibigan ni PCCCII President Lugene Ang na Chinese Investment and Real Estate Co. Ltd. ay magdesisyong magkaloob din ng kaparehong halaga ng donasyon ngayong araw, August 6.

Ayon kay G. Lugene Ang nais nyang makatulong ito sa mga lubhang nangangailang Pilipino na nasalanta ng lindol kamakailan upang kahit paano ay makaagapay sa kanilang buhay.

Ang Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. ay naitatag taong 2007 at nasa 18 Chapters na sa buong Pilipinas. Layunin nitong isulong ang pagkakaibigan ng bansang China at Pilipinas sa tulong na rin ng Chinese Embassy Philippines na protektahan ang konsulado, matulungan din ang mga Tsino na sumunod sa batas ng Pilipinas at makatulong sa panahon ng kalamidad.# (Cathy Cruz)
