48 PALENGKE SA QC DI NAKASUNOD SA REQUIREMENTS

Binigyan pa ni Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista ng palugit na hanggang Disyembre ng taong ito ang mga may-ari ng pribadong palengke sa lungsod na sumunod sa lahat ng mga regulatory requirements na ipinatutupad ng pamahalaang nasyonal at lokal kaugnay sa lehitimong pagtitinda.

 

Ibinigay ni Mayor Bautista ang ultimatum matapos iulat ng City Health Department na 48 mula sa 49 na pribadong palengke sa lungsod ang na-ooperate nang walang mga kaukulang  permiso at sertipikasyon, tulad ng health at sanitation permit, business permit, environmental clearances at discharge permits, na manggaling mula sa QC government, Department

of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) at Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA).

 

Base sa ulat ni Dr. Verdades Linga, hepe ng City Health Department, tanging ang Super Palengke sa Project 8 lamang ang nakasunod sa mga requirement.

 

Umaaasa si Mayor Bautista na makasusunod sa mga requirement ang mga may-ari ng mga palengke bago mag-Pasko.

 

Ayon sa alkalde, ang mga permit at clearance  ay naglalayong hikayatin ang mga may-ari ng mga palengke na mas pagandahin pa ang kanilang mga establisemento nang sa gayon ay mapalakas pa ang kanilang kita.

 

Kabilang sa mga palengke na ininspeksyon ng city heath department, katuwang ang environmental protection and waste management department at ng market development administration department, ay ang Arayat, Commonwealth, Farmer’s, Mega Q Mart, Litex, Muñoz, Pag-asa, Suki, A.
