At least 12 micro small medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Calabarzon Region will participate as exhibitors at the International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines, a four-day exhibition food trade show slated on May 21 to 24 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry’s Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (DTI-CITEM), IFEX brings together the leading export-oriented food and ingredient companies of Asia, the Pacific and Americas that will feature a wide array of food products, innovations, and services for buyers from all parts of the globe.

According to Calabarzon Regional Director Marilou Quincho-Toledo, IFEX is a grand launching platform for the region’s small and medium food enterprises to be exposed to the domestic and foreign buyers.

A special setting – the One Town, One Product Pavilion – holds the products of Ang Tindahan ng Itlog ni Kuya Atbp., Innovatech Food Manufacturing Corporation, New AM Miki Factory, Panaderia Pantoja Inc., Quiang’s Food Corporation, and Pasciolco Agri-Ventures.

Also, the RIPPLES Pavilion will house Arcem Food Products, Chocovron Global Corporation, Delfas Food Products, Merlo Agricultural Corporation and Pasciolco Agri-Ventures, enterprises listed under DTI’s Regional Interactive Platform for Philippine Exporters program.

Some of the country’s leading food brands that will be seen at IFEX include Foodsphere, Inc.
