PDEA CONFISCATES 2 KILOS OF SHABU IN BULACAN

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) confiscated two kilograms of shabu and arrested two suspected drug pushers during a buy-bust operation in Malolos City, Bulacan on May 28, 2015.

PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac Jr. identified the suspects as Herwin Francis Tee y Raagas, 31 years old, single and a resident of # 82 Sumapang Ligas Road, Brgy. Sumapang Matanda, Maloos City, Bulacan; and Mc Arben Reyes y Jamora, 30, tricycle operator, of Lorenzo Compound, Sumapang Matanda, Malolos City, Bulacan.

At around 4:00 pm, operatives of PDEA Regional Office 4A under Director Adzhar A. Albani conducted a buy-bust operation in the vicinity of Hiyas Subdivision, Brgy. Sumapang Matanda, Ligas Road, Malolos City, Bulacan against Tee and Reyes which resulted in their arrest after they agreed to sell one kilo of suspected shabu placed in a self-sealing transparent plastic bag  in exchange of P9,000 cash from a PDEA agent who acted as poseur-buyer.

Also seized from Tee and Reyes were another one transparent plastic bag containing suspected shabu and two P1,000 bills. They are temporarily detained at the PDE RO4A detention cell in Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba, Laguna, while seized drug was brought to the PDEA RO4A laboratory for forensic analysis.

Charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared for filing in court against Tee and Reyes. (Mr. Glenn J.
