LGU EMPLOYEE FALLS IN PDEA BUY-BUST IN KORONADAL CITY

A local government employee was arrested by anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a buy-bust operation in Koronadal City on June 2, 2015.

PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. identified the suspect as Ronald Ceasar Tingson y Lobaton, 50 years old, a local government employee of Koronadal City, South Cotabato and a resident of Marañon Village, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

At around 5:15 in the afternoon, elements of the PDEA Regional Office 12 (PDEA RO 12) under the direct supervision of Director Aileen T. Lovitos conducted a buy-bust operation in the vicinity of Rizal Park, Bonifacio Street, Brgy. Zone 4, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. Tingson was arrested after he agreed to sell one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a PDEA agent who acted as poseur-buyer.

Confiscated during the operation were one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu, one improvised tooter, one disposable lighter, one improvised needle, one black pouch and the buy-bust money.

Tingson will be facing charges for violation Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 12 (Possession of Equipment and Other Drug Paraphernalia), Article II of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002. (Mr. Glenn J.
