The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) under the leadership of Director General/Undersecretary JOSE S. GUTIERREZ JR., arrested more drug pushers in the regions.
On February 17, 2011, agents of PDEA Region 7 under the direct supervision of Director Adrian G. Alvariño conducted a buy-bust operation along the vicinity of Magsaysay St. Barangay Suba, Pasil, Cebu City which resulted in the arrest of a notorious drug Watch Listed person in the area namely Marcial Sere Inso, who resisted the arrest but was finally immobilized by the arresting operatives.
During the arrest, the PDEA agents heard gunshots from the neighboring residences, they were hit with rocks and Molotov (improvised kerosene bomb). Despite the risky situation, the operatives managed to subdue the suspect and bring him to the office.
Pieces of evidence recovered from Inso were two (1) transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu with a total weight of more or less 7 grams and the marked money.
Further investigation revealed that Marcial Sere Inso was also responsible for the extensive distribution of illegal drugs in the provinces of Bohol and Siquijor including the town of Cordova and in Lapu-lapu City.
On the same day, PDEA in Region 8 also arrested a drug pusher during a buy bust operation. The suspect was identified as Edward Peregrino David Go of Barangay 74 Lower Nula, Tacloban City, Leyte. He yielded a sachet of suspected shabu.
A case for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) Article II of RA 9165 has been filed against the suspects.-30- (RAFFY RICO/JIMMY CAMBA)
the said marcial sere inso is still operating the said shabu vending so as to his relatives. you must do a investigation again for the said person. this is a concern citizen of the place. i lived there since birth and i know people who are selling shabu there. u must eliminate them for they cause a big problem in the society. a teenager before who only knows playing some ball games n etc. now selling shabu. the place is already polluted with drug addicts and drug pushers. also in t.cavan l.flores pasil there is one also and also video carrera and is known to be protected by a police officer which house is just across the area where shabu vending and using is rampant. the said video games is manage by his daughter and son for the coins changing. PLEASE DO CHECK THE PLEASE. PLEASE ELIMINATE DRUG IN THE SAID PLACE.
