Apat (4) na Village-Level Processing Center, Pormal ng Isinalin ng DAR sa mga Benepisyaryo sa Siquijor

 

Pormal ng isinalin ng Department of Agrarian Reform o DAR ang pangangasiwa ng apat (4) na village-level processing center para sa mga produktong kalabasa bihon, erbal na langis, gatas at mani ng apat (4) na Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations o ARBOs sa lalawigan ng Siquijor.

Ayon kay Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer 2 o PARPO 2 Louie L. Naranjo, isa-punto dalawang milyong piso (P1.2) ang inilaan ng DAR sa naturang apat (4) na proyekto at may kabuuang apat na raan at limampung libong piso (P450,000.00) naman ang naging ambag ng apat na lokal na pamahalaan.

Sinabi pa ni PARPO 2 Naranjo na layon umano ng proyekto na maturuan ang bawat miyembro na mapalakas at itaguyod ang aspeto ng bentahan ng kanilang mga produkto.

Kabilang sa mga grupo ng mga benepisyaryong makikinabang sa naturang pasilidad ang Basac Womens Association o BWA ng bayan ng Larena, Siquijor Womens Association for a Better Environment o SWABE ng Siquijor, Kapunungansa Pagpalambo sa Nasudnong Industriya sa Gatas o KAPANIG ng San Juan at Triple M Farmers Association o TMFA ng Lazi sa nasabi pa ring lalawigan.
