LADY PUSHER BUSTED FOR SELLING SHABU IN CAMARINES SUR

A suspected lady pusher was arrested by combined anti-narcotics operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) during a buy-bust operation in Nabua, Camarines Sur. The operation also resulted in the confiscation of 345 grams of shabu.

PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. identified the suspect as Marciana Gutierrez y Romanillos, 42 years old, target-listed drug personality in PDEA RO5, and a resident of Malinta, Valenzuela City, Metro Manila.

On June 9, 2015 at around 10:00 am, combined elements of PDEA Regional Office 5-Camarines Sur Provincial Office (PDEA RO5) under Director Bryan B. Babang, Camarines Sur Provincial Police Office, Regional Intelligence Unit 5, and Nabua Municipal Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation against Gutierrez in Paloyon Proper, Nabua,
Camarines Sur that resulted in her arrest after she agreed to sell one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of shabu to a PDEA agent who acted as a poseur-buyer.

Seized from Gutierrez were three pieces of knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 345 grams and the two P500 bills used as marked money.

Gutierrez is temporarily detained at the Nabua Municipal Station. She will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.(Mr. Glenn J. Malapad, OIC, Public Information Office, PDEA)
