Acting on a reliable information that an undetermined quantity of shabu will be transported from Metro Manila to Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office IV B (PDEA IV-B) and Roxas Municipal Police Station conducted an anti-drug operation that resulted in the arrest of the recipient of the illegal drug.

PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac Jr., identified the recipient as Donnabel Zaldivar y Baldera, 22 years old, unemployed and a resident of Sitio Looban, Paclasan Poblacion, Roxas, Oriental Mindoro.

They were arrested after they agreed to sell one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu worth P2,000 to a PDEA agent who acted as poseur-buyer. Recovered from their possession was the buy-bust money used during the operation.

The three suspects are temporarily detained at the PDEA RO4A jail facility in Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna, while cases for violation of Section 5 in relation to Section 26 (Conspiracy to Sell Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA9165 will be filed in court
