THE LEGEND TALKS ON PHILIPPINES FISHERIES

Ang Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources of the Department of Agriculture (DA-BFAR) ay gumawa ng isang bihirang pangyayari na tinaguriang #LegendsTalksOnPHFisheries sa Bahay ng Alumni sa UP Diliman sa Quezon City.

Dumalo sa nasabi event ang ibat ibang sayantipiko, industry leaders at ilang public servant.

Kabilang sa mga Legends na dumalo ay sina Dr. Edgardo D. Gomez, National Scientist, Dr. Gavino C. Trono, National Scientist, Dr. Rafael D. Guerrero III, Father of Tilapia Sex Reversal at ang nag-iisang babae sa kanila na kabilang sa mga dumalo si Dra. Sonia Y. De leon, PH 1st Food Technologist. Kasama rin ang ilang industry leaders’ tulad nila Mr. Francisco Buencamino, Mr. Marfenio Tan, Mr. Francisco Tiu-Laurel at si public official Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr, bilang mga speakers.

“We organized #Legends in order to widen the perspective and awareness of fishery stakeholders as well as non-fishery participants on the present challenges besetting the Philippine fisheries and aquatic resources,” sabi ni Agriculture Secretary Proceso J. Alcala.

(Lynne Pingoy)
