Trip.com Group, a leading global travel service provider, has been recognized by Philippine Airlines (PAL) with two prestigious accolades at the annual PAL Awards. The Group earned the Top Performer Award and the Chairman’s Circle Club Award, highlighting its exceptional performance and strong partnership with the Philippines’ national flag carrier.

The Top Performer Award acknowledges Trip.com Group’s outstanding achievements as a top online travel agency, particularly in sales performance and customer service. Meanwhile, the Chairman’s Circle Club Award—one of PAL’s highest distinctions—celebrates elite partners across all sales platforms, further affirming Trip.com Group’s influence and leadership within the travel industry.

“We are deeply honoured to receive these recognitions from Philippine Airlines,” said Mr. Chee Teong Ooi, Associate Vice President of Trip.com Group. “These awards reflect the strength of our collaboration and our shared goal of delivering exceptional travel experiences. We’re excited to continue growing our partnership and connecting more travellers to and from the Philippines.”

Capt. Stanley K. Ng, President and COO of Philippine Airlines, also praised the partnership: “Trip.com Group has consistently driven strong bookings while promoting our vision of warm Filipino hospitality in the skies. Their customer-centric approach and innovative strategies make them an outstanding partner. We are proud to acknowledge their success with these awards.”

In 2024, Trip.com Philippines experienced a remarkable surge in flight bookings, rising over 300% from the previous year. Popular destinations among Filipino travellers included mainland China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan, and Korea. With PAL resuming direct Manila-Beijing flights and new routes launching soon—such as Cebu-Ho Chi Minh in May 2025 and Manila-Da Nang in July 2025—travel momentum between the Philippines and the region is set to continue rising.#
