In continuous efforts to ensure the quality and timely completion of housing projects, National Housing Authority (NHA) General Manager Joeben Tai recently led the inspection of the Arkong Bato Housing Project in Valenzuela City.
The Arkong Bato Housing Project, located in the city, reflects NHA’s dedication to implementing in-city development. This project is intended for families residing in hazardous areas, particularly those living along the banks of the Tullahan River.
“In line with our Build Better More (BBM) Housing Program and the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. to achieve a ‘New Philippines,’ we ensure that the housing projects built by the NHA are of high quality and close to public facilities,” GM Tai stated.
Accompanied by Assistant General Manager Alvin S. Feliciano, the inspection was conducted to assess the construction status and ensure compliance with established standards.
Following the inspection, GM Tai also led the inauguration of the new NHA-NCR-North Sector Office in Brgy. North Bay Boulevard South, Navotas City. The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the office.
According to GM Tai, the opening of the new office is a crucial step in bringing NHA services closer to the public, stakeholders, and beneficiaries. It will also facilitate easier access to essential programs, support, and other necessary resources.
“We built this office to bring the efficient and reliable services of the NHA closer to the public and beneficiaries,” GM Tai added.
These initiatives are part of the government’s continuous efforts to ensure quality and affordable housing for Filipinos, especially those in vulnerable sectors of society.#
