His deep commitment to diplomacy and international cooperation earned him the prestigious Award for Promoting Philippines-China Understanding (APPCU), presented by the Association for Philippines-China Understanding (APCU), in recognition of his role in strengthening bilateral ties and promoting cultural understanding.
