As a diplomat, Ambassador Benedicto represented the Philippines with distinction in key foreign postings, including China, Singapore, and South Korea. His deep commitment to diplomacy and international cooperation earned him the prestigious Award for Promoting Philippines-China Understanding (APPCU), presented by the Association for Philippines-China Understanding (APCU), in recognition of his role in strengthening bilateral ties and promoting cultural understanding.
