The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)- Laguna Chapter conducted on December 7 a seminar titled “Access To Legal Aid for All: The role of ULAS (Unified Legal Aid Service) in the Philippines Justice System at Hillspa Resort, Los Baños Laguna.
The seminar with Q&A was jointly facilitated by Judge Liza Dela Cruz and Atty. Felylou Altria-Fernandez and was attended by lawyers from all over Laguna and from legal organizations such as Lex Unitas, San Pablo City (SPC) Bar, the Metro Calamba Lawyers Group and Southeastern Laguna Lawyers Group (SELLAG), an organization of lawyers from municipalities in the South.
Meantine, the aforesaid event was attended by Laguna Vice-Governor and Lawyer Karen Agapay who gave an inspirational message on serving the public with expertise and integrity and Board Member and Lawyer JM Carait who encouraged his colleagues to devote time and use their legal expertise to serve the public.
