3,000 PABAHAY PARA SA MGA ‘INFORMAL SETTLERS’ SA QC

QUEZON CITY- Tatlong libong (3,000) mga ‘Informal Settlers’ ang tatanggap ng libreng pabahay sa Lungsod Quezon na magmumula kay Henry Sy. Ang pagsasa-ayos ng 3,000 pamilya na tatanggap ng pabahay, ay ang mga residenteng nakatira sa sa ilalim ng ‘high tension wires’

Ayon kay City Administrator Victor Endriga, tinatayang nasa halagang P90,000.00 ang bawat bahay na ipagkakaloob ng National Grid Corporation sa mga informal settlers sa lungsod.

Matatandaang si Henry Sy ang bagong talagang Presidente at Chief Executive Officer ng National Grid Corporation, kung saan ay siya rin ang Vice Chairman at CEO ng SM Development Corporation at Vice Chairman ng SM Investment Corporation.

Inaasahan na magkakaroon ng Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) sa pagitan nina City Mayor Herbert Bautista at Henry Sy sa darating na  April 24 sa Bulwagan ng Quezon City Hall upang lalong pagtibayin ang ugnayan ng lokal na pamahalaan at ng National Grid Corporation para sa iba pang programa sa lokal  na pamahalaan ng Lungsod Quezon.

Dagdag pa ni CA Victor Endriga, ang ganitong ugnayan ng pribado at pamahalaan ay indikasyon na magiging maliwanag na ang kinabukasan ng mga mahihirap nating kababayan, dahil simula na ito ng hakbangin para mapataas ang kalidad ng buhay ng bawat mamamayan sa bansa.

“Ang pagkakaroon o pagkakaloob ng isang ligtas at maayos na tahanan sa mga maralitang taga-lungsod Quezon, ay  magsisilbing ehemplo para doon sa iba pa nating kalungsuran at bayan sa buong bansa”, ayon pa kay CA Endriga.  (RAFFY RICO/JIMMY CAMBA)
