In response to the widespread damage and displacement caused by Typhoon Tino in the Visayas region, the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles, Inc. (TFOE-PE Inc.) headed by National President Ronald F. Delos Santos with Triple D Chairman Joseph Jocson created a newly formed citizen-led initiative, “Task Force Typhoon Tino,” has issued an urgent call for public donations to provide immediate relief to affected families.

The task force announced its plan to deploy essential aid packs as soon as possible to the hardest-hit areas. The initiative emphasizes that community support is crucial for a swift and effective response to the calamity.

“The spirit of Bayanihan is needed now more than ever,” Joseph Jocson said in his FB Post. “We are appealing to the public’s generosity to help our countrymen in their time of greatest need.”

The group has released a comprehensive list of needed items, which highlights the scale of the crisis. The list includes not only basic necessities like rice, canned goods, instant noodles, and mineral water but also critical non-food items such as medicines, blankets, sanitary napkins, and diapers for both children and adults.

Notably, the appeal also includes provisions for animals, calling for pet food and cages, recognizing that pets and livestock are also vulnerable during disasters.

To facilitate the collection, Task Force Typhoon Tino has established three primary drop-off stations in Metro Manila:

  • Quezon City: TFOE-PE Inc. National Office at 108 Panay Avenue, Octo Arts Building.
  • Pasig City: Signo Warehouse at 76 F Mariano Avenue, Dela Paz.
  • Las PiƱas City: J&MA Apparels at Unit 5-A Lalaine Bennet St., BF Resort, Brgy. Talon Dos.

Donors are advised to ask for an acknowledgement receipt at the Quezon City station for proper documentation.

For those who wish to contribute financially, the task force is accepting monetary donations via a QR code linked to an account under the name Joseph C. Jocson. Donors are requested to send a screenshot of their transaction to ensure proper acknowledgment.

As recovery efforts begin, Task Force Typhoon Tino aims to channel the public’s compassion into concrete aid, hoping to bring immediate relief and a message of solidarity to the survivors of Typhoon Tino.#
