Manila Water, patuloy na nakamit ang 100% na pamantayan sa kalidad ng tubig sa kabila ng pagbabago ng panahon

Nag-ulat ng walang kapantay na kalidad ng tubig ang Manila Water para sa buwan ng Agosto 2025, kung saan nakamit nito ang 100 porsiyentong pagsunod sa Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water (PNSDW) sa lahat ng water treatment plant nito. Patuloy na matatag ang operasyon ng kumpanya sa kabila ng pagbabago mula sa Habagat patungo sa panahon ng Amihan, na nagdudulot ng pagbabago sa kalagayan ng tubig sa mga pinagkukunan.

Ayon kay Jeric Sevilla, Communication Affairs Director ng Manila Water, “Ang pagpapanatili ng de-kalidad na tubig tuwing panahon ng tag-ulan ay isang malaking hamon dahil sa pagdami ng dumi sa tubig. Ang patuloy naming 100 porsiyentong pagsunod sa pamantayan ay patunay sa tibay ng aming sistema at dedikasyon ng aming mga empleyado.”

Bukod sa kalidad ng tubig, nanatili ring mababa ang non-revenue water level ng kumpanya sa 14.31 porsiyento noong Agosto, na maihahalintulad sa mga antas sa mga mauunlad na bansa. Nangangahulugan ito ng mahusay na pamamahala at pag-iwas sa pagtulo ng tubig sa sistema.

Kabilang sa mga hakbang upang masiguro ang kalidad ang mahigpit na pagsasagawa ng water sampling, kung saan nakuha ang kabuuang 5,758 samples mula sa mga treatment plant, gripo ng mga customer, at mga water reservoir noong nakaraang buwan. Ang mga resulta ay sumasalamin sa epektibong estratehiya ng Manila Water upang matiyak ang ligtas at tuloy-tuloy na serbisyo ng tubig sa publiko.#
