Konsiyerto inilunsad laban sa korapsyon

Sa isang makabuluhang pagtitipon, pinangunahan ng kilalang anti-corruption advocate na si Joseph Luna ang isang mini-concert na may temang “Bawal ang Magnanakaw” upang tutulan ang katiwalian sa pamahalaan.

Ang nasabing konsyerto, na ginanap kamakailan, ay dinaluhan ng mga artista at mga ordinaryong mamamayan na nagkaisa sa adhikain laban sa korapsyon. Kabilang sa mga performer ay sina Lolita Carbon at Pat, na nagbigay ng mga awiting nagpapahiwatig ng pagtutol sa pang-aabuso ng mga nasa kapangyarihan.

Sa kanyang pahayag, iginiit ni Luna, na miyembro ng Crime and Corruption Watch International (CCWI), na ang mga maliliit na negosyante at ordinaryong mamamayan ang tunay na biktima ng korapsyon. “Tayo po ang nagpapa-sweldo sa kanila, nagpapagawa ng kalsada, nagpapaaral sa kanila. Pero ano ang ginagawa nila? Ninanakaw nila ang pera ng bayan,” pagdidiin niya.

Bukod dito, hinimok niya ang mga kapwa niya mamamayan na magkaisa at huwag pumayag sa katiwalian. “Hindi ito normal. Hindi ito dapat pinapalampas. Kailangan nating ipaglaban ang ating bayan,” dagdag pa niya.

Ang naturang konsyerto ay naging daan upang maiparating ang mensahe ng pagtutol sa katiwalian sa pamamagitan ng musika at sining—isang malikhaing paraan ng pagpapakilos sa mamamayan para sa pagbabago.

Sa huli, nanawagan si Luna ng mas malawak na suporta at patuloy na pagbabantay sa mga gawain ng mga nasa pamahalaan.#
