Manila Water Releases January 2026 Desludging Schedule for East Zone, Urges Regular Septic Tank Cleaning

Manila Water has released its January 2026 desludging schedule, offering customers across the East Zone of Metro Manila and Rizal province free septic tank cleaning to promote a healthy start to the new year. The company emphasizes that this essential service prevents wastewater overflow, protects community sanitation, and reduces the risk of waterborne diseases.

Start 2026 right with a cleaner, healthier home. Manila Water announces its free January desludging schedule for East Zone barangays.

The company announced that its desludging trucks will service select barangays throughout January at no additional cost to customers. Regular desludging every five years is crucial for maintaining household hygiene and safeguarding local waterways, especially as families reset routines for the new year.

Manila Water’s Communication Affairs Group Director, Jeric Sevilla, stated: “Regular desludging may seem like a small task, but it has a big impact on keeping households healthy and communities protected. As we welcome 2026, we encourage our customers to take advantage of our septic tank cleaning services… so we can work together in keeping our environment clean.”

The scheduled service for January 2026 will cover barangays in:

  • Quezon City: Pansol, Alicia, Bagong Pag-asa, Bagumbayan, Dioquino Zobel
  • Antipolo City: Sta. Cruz, Bagong Nayon, San Luis
  • Cainta: San Juan
  • Rodriguez (Montalban): Geronimo, San Jose, San Isidro
  • San Mateo: Silangan, Ampid 1, Santo Nino
  • Taguig City: New Lower Bicutan, Lower Bicutan
  • Marikina City: Barangka, Calumpang, Concepcion Uno, Malanday, Marikina Heights, Parang, San Roque, Tumana
  • Mandaluyong City: Wack-Wack

Residents in the listed areas should confirm their schedule through their local barangay offices or Manila Water’s official social media channels. The company advises customers to ensure septic tanks are accessible by clearing the area around the tank cover before the team’s arrival.

The free scheduled desludging is a recurring service provided by Manila Water to support proper sanitation. The company continues to remind the public that this practice is a key component of environmental and public health protection.

For updates and advisories, customers may follow Manila Water’s official social media pages or contact the Customer Care Hotline at 1627.#
