Fraternal Order of Eagles Brings Power and Light to Batanes

In a landmark humanitarian effort, the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles, Inc. (TFOE-PE Inc.) is set to deliver a significant donation of power generators and solar lights to the entire island province of Batanes, marking what the organization calls “another historic moment.”

The initiative, announced via a social media post by Chairman Joseph Ryan C. Jocson, aims to provide critical energy support to the remote communities of the province.

The substantial donation includes five units of silent inverter-type generators, each with a 2,000-watt capacity, with a total worth of ₱125,000. These generators are designated for distribution across the five municipalities of Batanes. Additionally, the organization will be providing 40 units of 3,000-watt solar lights, valued at ₱15,000, to illuminate areas with limited or no access to electricity.

In a video message, the organization explained the purpose behind the “Triple D” (Duty, Dignity, Dedication) mission. The delegation, led by Chairman Jocson and Chairman Alalayang Agila Edward Agustin, will personally deliver the equipment to assist the people of Batanes.

“We will be bringing these generators to help our people in Batanes,” the message stated. “Please excuse us, this is what we are able to do. I know that there is a solar panel included in this that will be given to the areas where electricity is not available. This will be used when there is no electricity in Batanes.”

The donation is expected to be a vital resource for the island communities, which can be susceptible to power interruptions and where some areas still lack stable electrical connections. The silent inverters and solar lights provide a reliable and quiet alternative energy source for essential needs.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles, Inc., under the leadership of National President Ronald Delos Santos, extended its gratitude and called for support. The message concluded with a dedication: “This is for you, fellow citizens of Batanes. Long live!”
