In a significant display of unity and civic spirit, a coalition of fraternal organizations, government offices, and private stakeholders successfully conducted a large-scale relief operation for communities and personnel affected by a recent disaster in Cebu.

The joint initiative, dubbed “Task Force Cebu,” was spearheaded by the Fraternal Order of Eagles – Philippine Eagles Inc. (FOE-PEI) and organized in close coordination with the Office of the Vice President for Visayas, Kuya Bronz Peña, and RC Camp Crame.
The relief effort saw an overwhelming turnout of support from the organization’s national leadership, including the Offices of the National President, Executive National Vice President, and Vice President for Luzon. The operation was further bolstered by the collective force of the Regional Governors League, numerous National Officers, Regional Governors, Club Presidents, and their dedicated members.
Lakbay Pinas NCR48, led by its Chairman for Alalay ng Agila, Kuya Edward Agustin gave monetary assistance.
Onground distribution managed by Triple D commission. The team distributed essential goods directly to both affected civilians and PNP personnel on the front lines.
The comprehensive aid package included:
- 2,155 food packs
- 28 cases of bottled water
- 269 water containers
- 30 pieces of trapal (tarpaulin) for temporary shelter
- Cash assistance amounting to ₱48,000

The total estimated value of the distributed relief items and financial aid reached an impressive approximately ₱1,064,820.
This humanitarian mission was executed under the banner of the FOE-PEI’s Triple D Commission, which stands for Disaster and Relief Assistance. The initiative underscores the organization’s unwavering commitment to providing immediate and tangible support to Filipinos in times of crisis.
A representative from the FOE-PEI stated that the operation reflects their core mission of “extending compassion, solidarity, and immediate aid to disaster-affected areas,” reinforcing that no community has to face hardship alone. The success of Task Force Cebu is expected to pave the way for similar collaborative efforts in other regions needing assistance.#
