Eagles Relief Drive in Masbate Distributes 1,294 Packs

The Fraternal Order of Eagles- Philippine Eagles (FOE-PE) distributed 1,294 relief packs across Masbate, concluding an operation that resulted in a PHP 37,939.63 financial shortfall, which will be covered by reallocating remaining funds from a previous mission in Cebu, according to the group’s transparency report.

The report, issued by Joseph Ryan Jocson Cuisia, Chairman of the Triple D Commission and Task Force Masbate, stated that the mission’s total expenses reached PHP 325,989.63, surpassing the available funds of PHP 288,050.00. The organization has announced that this deficit will be deducted from the remaining funds of “Task Force Cebu,” ensuring the Masbate operation is fully settled.

In a move to ensure full transparency, the task force confirmed that an official liquidation report will be formally submitted to the FOE-PE National Office, headed by President Ronald F. Delos Santos. A copy of this detailed financial report will be posted on the National Office bulletin board for public viewing.

The relief effort was funded by PHP 238,050.00 in public donations and a PHP 50,000.00 support fund from the national office. The aid reached numerous communities, with distributions recorded in Aroroy (300 packs), Cauayan (300), Umabay Ext. (200), Esperanza (200), Fabrica (100), Milagros (120), and Brgy. Nursery (50). Additional packs were given to volunteers and support staff.

The public notice also included important disclaimers for donors. The list of contributors is “subject to update for correction,” and a record of goods delivered directly to the national office will be updated soon. Donors who may have been omitted were encouraged to send a private message to the task force to ensure their contribution is properly recorded.

This comprehensive reporting by Chairman Cuisia highlights the organization’s commitment to public accountability for both its achievements and its financial challenges in conducting humanitarian work.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles- Philippine Eagles is a known civic organization involved in various community outreach and charitable activities across the country.#
