Tangere welcomes the new COMELEC regulation requiring the registration of survey firms.

As one of the key advocates of the Online and Digital Research Standards and Guidelines released by the Marketing Opinion Research Society of the Philippines (MORES) on June 27, 2024, Acquisition Apps, Inc. (Tangere) welcomes the newly issued COMELEC Resolution No. 11117, which seeks to regulate election surveys and enhance transparency. Tangere adheres to MORES’ guidelines in all their survey releases, including the disclosure of survey sponsors.

“We are thrilled with this new resolution from COMELEC under the leadership of Chairperson Atty. George Garcia. It validates our research practices and reinforces our mission to be the ‘Boses ng Pilipino,’ representing our one million users nationwide,” said Tangere CEO, Martin Penaflor.

Penaflor also shared that Tangere is actively preparing the required legal documents to comply with the new regulation and has expressed interest in attending the end-of-month meeting with other invited survey firms.
