The National Housing Authority (NHA), under the Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP), provided financial aid to 1,076 families affected by fire incidents.

On February 8, 2025, a total of 549 fire-affected families from Muntinlupa and Parañaque City received ₱10,000 in assistance under EHAP. Representing NHA General Manager Joeben Tai, NCR South Sector Manager Cromwell C. Teves led the distribution of aid in Muntinlupa, alongside other local officials.
Meanwhile, on February 5 and 7, 2025, another 527 families from San Andres and Tondo, Manila, also received financial assistance through the program.
Through EHAP, the NHA provides financial aid to families affected by disasters such as typhoons, fires, earthquakes, and floods, helping them restart and rebuild their homes.
In 2024, the NHA distributed a total of ₱361 million in financial assistance under EHAP. This initiative aligns with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s commitment to supporting housing needs and the welfare of Filipino families through various government programs and services.
