NHA, sisimulan na ang Phase 2 ng Navoas Homes para sa 180 benepiyaryo

Pinangunahan ni National Housing Authority (NHA) General Manager Joeben Tai ang groundbreaking ceremony para sa Navotaas Homes 5 Phase 2 noong Nobyembre 22, 2024.

Matatagpuan sa Brgy. Tanza, Lungsod ng Navotas, ang konstruksyon ng tatlong low-rise buildings na magbibigay tirahan sa 180 na pamilya sa oras na ito ay makumpleto.

Bawat unit ay may sukat na 24 sqm at kumpleto sa mga pangunahing pasilidad. Kasama rin sa itatayo sa lugar ang mga pasilidad katulad ng isang community center, terminal ng traysikel, at police station.

Ang proyektong pabahay na ito ay bahagi ng komprehensibong plano ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Navotas na bigyan ng kalidad na tahanan ang natitirang 6,500 informal settler families (ISFs) sa lungsod na naninirahan sa mga mapanganib na lugar tulad ng mga daluyan ng tubig.

Sa kanyang talumpati, binigyang-diin ni GM Tai ang kahalagahan ng seremonya bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pangako ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na magbigay ng maayos na tirahan at pangmatagalang komunidad para sa mga Pilipino.

“Ang okasyon pong ito ay isang pagpapatunay ng aming parte at suporta para sa ikatatagumpay ng hangarin ng ating Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr. na mabigyan ang ating mga kababayan ng ligtas na pabahay sa tahimik na komunidad,” saad ni GM Tai.

Kasama sa programa sina NHA Assistant General Manager Alvin S. Feliciano at North Sector Regional Manager Jovita G. Panopio. Dumalo rin sa seremonya sina Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Undersecretary Roland Samuel T. Young, Navotas City Lone District Representative Tobias Tiangco, Mayor John Reynald M. Tiangco, at Vice Mayor Tito M. Sanchez.

Sa kabuuan, inaasahang makikinabang ang 1,440 Navoteñong pamilya mula sa kabuuang 24 low-rise buildings na bahagi ng proyekto.#
