Kailangan natin ng mapagkakatiwalaan sa gobyerno – Atty. Vic Rodriguez

“I think unconstitutional yan because that is curtailment of free speech. You do not have the right to regulate it, not even the Comelec! Comelec is not in the business of sensoring or regulating free speech, that is unconstitutional! Sarili nyang freedom board yan eh. Ngayon kung may nilabag syang batas, revised penal code, cyber libel, eh di kasuhan nyo ng libel. But it’s not for the Comelec to police yung ating personal freedom spaces.

Atty.

I want to see a hybrid form of election. As for the qualification, walang magagawa ang Comelec, because it is the Constitution that lays down the minimum qualification for a candidate to be able to file his or her candidacy.

And both houses of Congress dahil yung liquidation by certification, lahat nag-uunahan sila.

“And even BIR, an official of the BIR, I think he was, let me just put it this way, he was thinking aloud na bagsak yung kanilang koleksyon, hindi nila nami-meet yung revenue, pero may tanong siya, bakit kami sa BIR nagkaroon ng 22% increase in collection, I mean tumaas ang “collection efficiency” nila ng 22% samantalang ang Bureau of Customs 3% lang.
