Nakinabang kamakailan lang ang mahigit 3,000 benepisyaryo sa People’s Caravan: “Serbisyong Dala ay Pag-asa” ng National Housing Authority (NHA) na ginawa sa University of Southern Mindanao-Kidapawan City, Campus, Cotabato.
Bilang inisyatiba ni NHA General Manager Joeben A. Tai, nilalapit ng caravan ang iba’t ibang programa at serbisyo ng gobyerno sa mga benepisyaryo na pamilya ng mga resettlement site ng NHA at mga kalapit na komunidad nito.
Sa gabay ni NHA GM Tai, pinangunahan ni NHA Assistant General Manager Alvin S. Feliciano ang programa kasama sina NHA Region XII Regional Manager Engr. Zenaida M. Cabiles, NHA Kidapawan District Manager Engr. Joel R. Reintar at Community Support Services Department Officer-in-Charge Donhill V. Alcain. Sumuporta rin sa caravan sila 2nd District of Cotabato Province Congressman Rudy S. Caoagdan, Cotabato Governor Emmylou “Lala” Taliño- Mendoza, Kidapawan City Mayor Atty. Jose Paolo M. Evangelista at City Councilor Judith Navara.
Lumahok sa programa ang 34 government agencies at pribadong sektor na nagbigay ng kanilang serbisyo para sa mga benepisyaryo. Ang Department of Health (DOH)/Bicol Center for Health Development, Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Commission on Population and Development (CPD), Daraga Municipal Health Office, Optigue Fashion Optical Shop, 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) at Albay Provincial Health Office para sa libreng medical/dental missions, chest x-ray, eye check-up, deworming activity, free haircut at medicines, emergency stand-by and rescue service, at orientation on responsible parenthood and family planning.
Nagsagawa naman ng job fair at profiling para sa Kasambahay, SPES, Skills Training at Youth works ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Daraga Public Employment Service Office (PESO) at Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). Habang oryentasyon sa mga programa at serbisyo para sa OFW naman ang ginawa ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
Kasama rin sa programa ng caravan ang iba’t ibang livelihood programs, skills enhancement at entrepreneurship training, business and capital consultancy, scholarship programs, Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Orientation, Ancestral Domain Sustainable Development and Protection Plan (ADSDPP) Formulation, Educational Assistance Program (EAP) and Merit Based Scholarship Program (MBSP), assistance to IPs in Emergency Situation mula sa Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) at National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP).
Nabigyan din ng pagkakataon ang mga benepisyaryo makakuha ng kanilang National ID at iba pang serbisyo sa civil registry tulad ng pag-proseso ng Birth Certificate, Death Certificate, Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR), Marriage Certificate at PSA Serbilis Application ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) at Daraga Municipal Civil Registry Office; membership registration at Loyalty Card issuance ng Pag-IBIG Fund; membership at PhilHealth ID issuance; membership registration at pension concerns/ACOP ang hatid ng Social Security System (SSS); police at NBI clearances sa tulong ng Philippine National Police (PNP) at National Bureau of Investigation; voter’s registration mula sa Commission on Elections (COMELEC); at driver’s license application at renewal ng Land Transportation Office (LTO).
Nagbigay ng abot kayang presyo para sa farm-to-market agricultural products at bigas ang Department of Agriculture sa kanila KADIWA on Wheels na kaakibat ang National Irrigation Administration (NIA). Namahagi rin ng libreng punla, buto at 3,000 indigenous tree seedlings mula sa Kidapawan Provincial Agriculture Office at Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR- PENRO).
Libreng onsite internet connection/ wifi at oryentasyon para sa eGOV Super app ang hatid ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). Libre din ang legal consultation at notary service ng Public Attorney’s Office (PAO). Binahagi naman ng Office of Civil Defense (OCD) ang mga programa ng kanilang ahensya.
Ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Cotabato, Local Government Unit ng Kidapawan City at Unibersidad ng Southern Mindanao-Kidapawan City Campus ay sumuporta sa logistik. Nagbigay din ng food packs ang nasabing lokal na pamahalaan at DSWD para sa mga benepisyaryo.
Mula ng inilunsad noong Setyembre 2023, naging matagumpay ang pagpapatupad ng NHA People’s Caravan: Serbisyong Dala ay Pag-asa sa mga rehiyon/municipalidad sa bansa. Sa pamamagitan ng matibay na pakikipagtulungan sa parehong pampubliko at pribadong sektor, nakapagsagawa ang caravan ng mga makabuluhang hakbanging upang mapanatili ang kaunlaran ng mga komunidad alinsunod sa mga hangarin para sa Bagong Pilipinas.#
