1,500 benepisyaryo nakinabang sa NHA People’s Caravan sa Lungsod ng Valenzuela

Mahigit 1,500 na benepisyaryo mula sa Disiplina Village Bignay, Northville 1 Resettlement Project (Kasarival), Northville 1B Project (Punturin), Northville 2 (HARV) at Northville 2B (Bagumbong) ang lumahok, kamakailan lang, sa People’s Caravan “Serbisyong Dala ay Pag-asa” ng National Housing Authority (NHA) na ginanap sa Disiplina Village Bignay, Brgy. Bignay, Valenzuela City.

Bilang kinatawan ni NHA General Manager Joeben Tai, pinangunahan ni Assistant General Manager Alvin S. Feliciano ang pagbubukas ng People’s Caravan katuwang sina NCR-North Sector Manager Engr. Jovita G. Panopio at Valenzuela City Mayor Weslie T. Gatchalian.

Sa utos ni NHA GM Tai, layunin ng caravan mailapit ang mga pangunahing serbisyo publiko sa mga pamilyang benepisyaryo ng mga pabahay ng NHA. “Hindi ninyo na kailangan mamasahe ng matindi, gumising ng maaga para pumila, lalo na sa mainit na panahon ngayon o pumunta sa malalayong lugar para ma-avail ang basic at necessary services,” ani NHA AGM Feliciano.

Nagsagawa ng job fair ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Gains Group, Inc. para sa mga residente nais magkatrabaho.

Para sa pangkalusugang atensyon, libreng medical mission, medisina, bitamina at gupit ang serbisyong dala ng Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

Nagtayo naman ng KADIWA Pop-Up Store ang Department of Agriculture (DA)-AMAS na may murang tindang gulay, prutas, itlog, karne, isda at marami pang iba. Namigay naman ng libreng seeds, seedlings, farm inputs at fertilizers ang DA- Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI).

Nagbigay ng livelihood interventions, skill enhancements, scholarship program, free business and capital consultancy, business name registration service, industrial at entrepreneurship training, business name registration service at Minors Traveling Abroad booth (MTA) ang Technical Education and Skills Development (TESDA), DA, DA-BPI Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD at Skill Power Institute Inc./ Negoskwela.

Kabilang din ang aplikasyon para sa National ID na hatid ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA); Philhealth ID ng Philhealth; Social Security System (SSS) membership registration; driver’s license renewal at student driver’s license application sa Land Transportation Office (LTO); Pag-ibig Fund loyalty card membership, online registration, change membership information, verification of loan status at multipurpose application; at mga clearance mula sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at Philippine National Police (PNP).

Nakatanggap din ang mga benepisyaryo ng libreng legal na payo, notary services at affidavits mula sa Public Attorney’s Office (PAO).

Nagpaabot ng libreng onsite internet wifi ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

Bukod dito, nagtayo ng free message station ang Toda Aksyon Partylist. At namigay din ng libreng fishball ang kampo ni Valenzuela City Councilor Cris Feliciano- Tan para sa mga benepisyaryo.

Samantala, nakatakda namang mamahagi ang NHA Region VI Capiz/Aklan/Antique District Office ng tulong pinansiyal, sa ilalim ng Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP), sa 10,102 pamilyang hinagupit ng Bagyong Ursula sa probinsya ng Aklan. May kabuuang P50.510 milyong pondo mula sa EHAP ang ipagkakaloob simula Hunyo 25-28, 2024.#
