NHA, DORELCO pinailawan ang 600 Yilanda Housing Units

Nagsagawa kamakailan lang ang National Housing Authority (NHA) ng seremonya upang simulan ang pagpapailaw at pagkakaroon ng kuryente sa 600- housing units ng Cool Spring Residences, Brgy. Arado, Burauen, Leyte, isa sa mga pabahay para sa mga biktima ng Super Bagyong Yolanda bilang pagpapatuloy sa pangakong magpatayo ng mga dekalidad na pabahay at maunlad na komunidad.

Sa gabay ni NHA General Manager Joeben Tai, napagkalooban ang Cool Spring Residences, isang proyektong pabahay ng NHA sa ilalim ng Yolanda Permanent Housing Program (YPHP), ng linya ng kuryente sa pamamagitan ng isang seremonya ng pag-iilaw bilang hudyat ng pagsisimula ng suplay ng kuryente. Patunay ang okasyong ito sa pagtupad ng pangangailangan sa pailaw at elektrisidad ng mga benepisyaryo upang mas mapagtibay ang kaligtasan at seguridad sa kanilang komunidad.

Kasama sa programa si NHA Region VIII Manager Engr. Constancio G. Antinero, bilang kinatawan ni NHA General Manager Joeben Tai sa nasabing pagsisindi ng ilaw at si Burauen Mayor Juanito E. Renomeron. Sa pangunguna ng NHA Region VIII Leyte 1, 2, 3/ Biliran District Office at pakikipagugnayan ng Don Orestes Romualdez Electric Cooperative, Inc. (DORELCO), patunay ang okasyong ito sa pagtupad ng NHA sa pangako ng ligtas at sapat na tahanan sa loob ng mga inklusibo at maunlad na mga komunidad, bilang pakikiisa sa kampanya ng isang Bagong Pilipinas ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr.

Kaugnay nito, namahagi ang NHA Region VI, katuwang ang lokal na pamahalaan President Roxas, ng kabuaang Php 46.660 milyon pondo, sa ilalim ng Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP) ng Ahensiya, para sa 9,332 pamilyang hinagupit ng Bagyong Ursula noong Abril 2-4, 2024. Sa pamamagitan ng EHAP, naglalayon ang NHA na magkaloob ng tulong pinansyal para sa mga pamilyang nasalanta ng kalamidad. Kinatawan ni NHA GM Tai si NHA Regional Manager Engr. Hermes Jude D. Juntilo sa nasabing okasyon.#
