NHA nagpamahagi ng P9.1M tulong pinansyal sa mga biktima ng bagyong Odette sa Cebu

Nagpamahagi ang National Housing Authority (NHA) sa pangunguna ni NHA General Manager Joeben A. Tai kasama si Senador Imee R. Marcos ng kabuuang P9,185,000 na tulong pinansyal sa 1,837 pamilyang Cebuano na nawalan ng tirahan dahil sa Bagyong Odette sa Mandani Bay, Mandaue City, Cebu noong Marso 10, 2024.

Sa kanyang mensahe, ipinahayag ni NHA GM Tai ang kanyang pasasalamat sa suportang ibinibigay sa pamahalaan at ni Senator Marcos sa ahensya upang masigurong matagumpay na maipaaabot ang tulong pabahay sa mga apektadong pamilya.

“Makaaasa po kayo na patuloy ang pagsisikap ng NHA upang magkaroon ang bawat pamilyang Pilipino ng ligtas, komportable at abot-kayang pabahay para sa isang progresibong komunidad tungo sa isang bagong Pilipinas” ani GM Tai.

Ang bawat benepisyaryo ay tumanggap ng P5,000 sa ilalim ng Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP) ng ahensya upang makatulong sa pagtatayo ng kanilang mga tahanan. Ang mga pamilyang biktima ng bagyo ay mula sa 22 barangay.

Ang NHA, sa ilalim ng EHAP, ay nagsisikap magpalawig ng mga serbisyong pabahay sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ayuda sa mga biktima ng kalamidad upang matulungan silang makapagpundar muli ng mga kagamitan sa bahay at maisaayos ang kanilang tahanan. Bukod sa bagyo, handa rin ang NHA na tumulong sa iba pang naapektuhan ng sakuna tulad ng sunog, lindol at pagbaha.

Samantala, naroroon din ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Mandaue City, sa pangunguna ni Mayor Jonas C. Cortes at Vice Mayor Glenn O. Bercede upang ipakita ang kanilang suporta sa nasabing programa.$
