NHA namahagi ng P11.030 Milyong tulong pinansyal sa pamilyang nasalanta ng bagyo sa Laguna

Nagpaabot kamakailan lang ng P11.030 milyon na tulong pinansyal ang National Housing Authority (NHA) sa 1,692 pamilyang naapektuhan ng Bagyong Paeng mula sa Calamba, Laguna.

Pinangunahan nina Senator Maria Imelda Josefa Remedios “Imee” R. Marcos at NHA General Manager Joeben Tai ang pamamahagi ng ayuda sa ilalim ng Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP) ng ahensya.

Nakatanggap ng P10,000 ang 514 na pamilya na ang mga bahay ay lubhang napinsala ng bagyo. Habang P5,000 naman ang ibinigay sa 1,178 na pamilya na may bahagyang nasirang kabahayan.

Bilang pakikiisa sa hangarin ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. tungo sa isang Bagong Pilipinas, ang NHA-EHAP ay naglalayong magbigay ng panibagong simula sa mga pamilyang nasalanta ng mga kalamidad.

Naging matagumpay ang pamamahagi ng tulong pinansyal dahil sa pagtutulungan ng NHA at nina Laguna 2nd District Representative Ruth Hernandez at Calamba City Mayor Roseller “Ross” Rizal.

Samantala, dumalo rin sa naturang kaganapan sina Office of the Civil Defense Region IV Director Carlos Eduardo E. Alvarez III, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Region IV Director Atty. Jann Roby R. Otero at NHA Region IV Manager Roderick T. Ibañez.#
