Ang Mandaluyong Sewer Project Package 1 ng Manila Water ay matatapos ngayong taon

Bilang bahagi ng pagdadala ng de-kalidad na serbisyo ng sewerage at sanitation sa mga customer nito sa East Zone ng Metro Manila, inaasahan ng Manila Water ang pagkumpleto ng Mandaluyong West Sewer Network Package 1 nito ngayong taon.

Sa kasalukuyan, ang Mandaluyong West Sewer Network Package 1 ay 64.49% na kumpleto.

Ang sewer project na ito sa Barangay Hulo, Mandaluyong City, ay magiging bahagi ng isang napakalaking 51-kilometrong sewer network na tinatawag na Mandaluyong West-San Juan South-Quezon City South Sewer Project.

Ang P4.2-bilyong sewer network ay magkakaroon ng 60-million-liter-per-day (MLD) capacity sewer treatment plant (mapapalawak sa 120 MLD) at magsasama rin ng 1 pangunahing pump station, 13 elevator station, 276 interceptor box, at isang 16-channel na interceptor. Sa 2037, inaasahang magsisilbi ang sewer network sa 704,260 residente ng Mandaluyong, San Juan, at Quezon City.

“Pinapapataas ng Manila Water ang sewerage at sanitation services nito para maabot ang mas maraming customer bilang bahagi ng Service Improvement Plan nito. Ang kumpanya ay namumuhunan nang malaki sa imprastraktura ng wastewater upang mag-ambag sa mas mabuting kalusugan ng komunidad at itaguyod ang pagpapanatili ng kapaligiran, “sabi ni Corporate Communications Affairs Group Director Jeric Sevilla.

Sa silangan ng Metro Manila, inaasahan ng East Zone concessionaire na makumpleto ang isa pang sewage treatment facility na tinatawag na Hinulugang Taktak Sewer Treatment Plant (HT STP) sa Disyembre 2024. Naging posible sa pamamagitan ng pakikipagtulungan sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Rizal, ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Antipolo City at ang Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System, ang HT STP ay magkakaroon ng kapasidad na gamutin ang 16 MLD ng wastewater upang makatulong sa rehabilitasyon ng makasaysayang Hinulugang Taktak falls.

Ang Mandaluyong West Sewer Network Project Package 1 at ang Hinulugang Taktak STP ay bahagi lahat ng Three-River System Wastewater Masterplan ng kumpanya upang tumulong sa rehabilitasyon at protektahan ang mga daluyan ng tubig at bigyan ang patuloy na lumalagong customer base nito ng pinakamahusay na serbisyo sa sanitasyon at sewerage.#
