8th International Conference of Asian Special Libraries (ICoASL)  

The Special Libraries Association (SLA), Special Libraries Association – Asian Community (SLA-Asia), Association of Special Libraries of the Philippines, Inc. (ASLP) and Cebu Librarians Association, Inc. (CLAI) will spearhead the 8th International Conference of Asian Special Libraries (ICoASL) with the theme “Advancing Asian Special Libraries Towards the Fifth Industrial Revolution” which will be held in University of San Carlos-Talamban Campus, Cebu City, Philippines on 22-24 February 2023.

The conference will bring together experts, practitioners, and educators in the library and information field over the world to discuss and address the on-going trends, progress, and challenges of the impact of the Fifth Industrial Revolution and its relevance to Asian Special Libraries. It will also be a venue for researchers and scholars to review the LIS curriculum and pedagogy and align it with the current needs and competencies needed by librarians and information professionals living toward the fifth IR. The conference also, will provide a way for collaboration between and among the special libraries in Asia.
