QCPD Rounds up 18 Suspects in Latest Anti-Drug Operations in Quezon City

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, PBGEN Nicolas D Torre III, announced the arrest of 18 drug suspects in latest anti-drug operations conducted in Quezon City.

La Loma Police Station (PS 1) under PLTCOL Garman Manabat arrested Marcial Cerezo Cajucom, 49 y/o, a resident of Tondo, Manila, at about 11:30 PM, October 24, 2022, at Del Monte Ave. corner Bonifacio Ave., Brgy. San Jose, Quezon City. PS 1 personnel were conducting anti-criminality patrol when they flagged down the suspect for not wearing protective helmet. Instead of heeding lawful order, he sped off but was cornered. When frisked, he yielded a sachet of shabu valued at Php2,720.00 hence, his arrest.

Masambong Police Station (PS 2) under PLTCOL Imelda Reyes arrested in a buy-bust operation Edmel Ferrer, 36 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Paltok, Quezon City, at about 2:15 AM, October 25, 2022, in his residence. Confiscated were three sachets of shabu amounting to Php6,800.00 and the buy-bust money.

Batasan Police Station (PS 6) under PLTCOL Morgan Aguilar arrested in a buy-bust operation Rj Moralde Viovicente, 35 y/o; Jovany Avelino Dominguez, 31 y/o; Jackelyn Ligutan Conde, 34 y/o; and Dennis Dacasin Sapatos, 41 y/o, all reisdents of Brgy. Matandang Balara, Quezon City, at around 2:15 AM of October 25, 2022, along San Rafael St., Brgy. Matandang Balara, Quezon City. Confiscated were six sachets of shabu amounting to Php Php2,040.00 and the buy-bust money.

Cubao Police Station (PS 7) under PLTCOL Joseph Euje Almaquer arrested in a buy-bust operation Armando Ramos Jr, 22 y/o, a resident of Brgy. E. Rodriguez, Cubao, Quezon City, at about 8:00 PM, October 24, 2022, in his residence. Confiscated were more or less four grams of shabu valued at Php27,200.00 and the buy-bust money.

Anonas Police Station (PS 9) under PLTCOL Ritchie Claravall arrested in a buy-bust operation Frankie Esquilona Rapsing, 51 y/o; Mariel Garcia Atencio, 31 y/o, both resident of Brgy. UP Campus, Quezon City; and Jaime Delvin Diva, 24 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Pinyahan, Quezon City, at about 6:30 PM, October 24, 2022, at Pook Malinis, Brgy. UP Campus, Quezon City. Confiscated were 16 sachets of shabu valued at Php27,540.00, a cellular phone and the buy-bust money.

Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) under PLTCOL Robert Amoranto arrested in a buy-bust operation Mark Anthony Guianan Oliver, 34 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Bagong Silangan, Quezon City, at about 7:00 PM, October 24, 2022, along EDSA near corner Timog Ave., Brgy. Sacred Heart, Quezon City. Confiscated were two sachets of shabu amounting to Php3,400.00, a cellular phone and the buy-bust money.

Also, PS 10 took custody of two 15 year-old male minors at about 12:40 PM, October 24, 2022, at Fitness Trail, Quezon City Memorial Circle, Brgy. Central, Quezon City after they were caught in possession of two pcs. of paper containing marijuana by the duty security guard.

Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station (PS 13) under PLTCOL Roldante Sarmiento arrested in a buy-bust operation Raymond Rodrigo Guardados, 31 y/o; Herman Anaya Domer, 35 y/o; and Rodolfo Dela Peña, 39 y/o, all residents of Brgy. Payatas B, at about 2:30 PM, October 24, 2022, inside house No. 49 Phase 4, Lupang Pangako, Brgy. Payatas B, Quezon City. Confiscated were six sachets of shabu valued at Php13,600.00 and the buy-bust money.

Project 6 Police Station (PS 15) under PLTCOL Norman Florentino arrested in a buy-bust operation Joaquin Guadayo, 23 y/o, of Brgy. Tandang Sora and Afra Dique Jr, 35 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Pasong Tamo, Quezon City, at about 6:40 PM, October 24, 2022, along Visayas Ave., Brgy. Vasra, Quezon City. Confiscated were eight sachets of shabu amounting to Php13,600.00, and the buy-bust money.

The suspects will be charged for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PBGEN Nicolas D Torre III commended his men for their efforts in the campaign against illegal drugs which resulted in the arrest of the suspects. “Makakaasa po ang publiko na mas pagiigihan pa namin ang aming operasyon kontra illegal na droga upang sugpuin ito dito sa ating Lungsod,” he added.#
