QCPD Nabs No. 1 Station Level Most Wanted Person, 16 Others

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, PBGEN Nicolas Torre III, announced the arrest of No. 1 Station Level Most Wanted Person of Project 4 Police Station (PS 8) and 16 others in the persistent campaign against Wanted Persons conducted by different tracker teams of QCPD.

PMAJ Don Don Llapitan, Chief of District Anti-Carnapping Unit (DACU) identified the No. 1 Most Wanted of PS 8 as Leonardo Desiar Yanes, 48 y/o, a resident of Brgy. 175, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City. He was arrested by joint personnel of DACU and PS 8 under PLTCOL Leoben Ong at about 9:45 AM, October 24, 2022, in front of a house located at NHA Bldg. 105, Brgy. 175, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.

Yanes has pending Warrants of Arrest for Robbery, violation of R.A. 11235 or the Motorcycle Prevention Act, violation of R.A. 10591 or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition, and B.P. 881 or the Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines with Criminal Case Nos. RQZN-22-04734 to 37 issued by Hon. Catherine Pespes Manodon, the Presiding Judge of Branch 104, Regional Trial Court (RTC), Quezon City.

Meanwhile, 16 other Wanted Persons were arrested by the following units and police stations:

La Loma Police Station (PS 1) under PLTCOL Garman Manabat arrested Thelma Galang, 54 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Kaligayahan, Novaliches, Quezon City, at about 5:35 PM, October 24, 2022, along Quirino Highway, Novaliches, Quezon City; Rosalie Gabriel, 57 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Sta. Teresita, Quezon City, at about 6:10 PM, October 24, 2022, along Rupee St., Brgy. North Fairview, Quezon City, and Manuel Galang, 56 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Kaligayahan, Novaliches, Quezon City, at about 4:45 PM, October 24, 2022, along Quirino Highway, Novaliches, Quezon City. The three accused have pending Warrants of Arrest for Estafa.

Masambong Police Station (PS 2) under PLTCOL Imelda Reyes served Warrant of Arrest against Jaime Saquing Bastero II, 45 y/o, a resident of Sampaloc Manila, at about 11:20 PM of October 24, 2022, at DIDMD Centralized Custodial Facility, Camp Karingal, Quezon City for Estafa.

Talipapa Police Station (PS 3) under PLTCOL Mark Janis C Ballesteros arrested Romel Rivera, 51 y/o, a resident of Brgy. 83, Caloocan City, at about 1:30 PM of October 24, 2022, along Mindanao Ave., Brgy. Tandang Sora Quezon City, for violation of R.A. 10883 or New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 and John Mike Pelayo, 25 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Tandang Sora, Quezon City, at about 12:30 PM of October 24, 2022, along EDR Compound, Brgy. Tandang Sora, Quezon City for Theft.

Fairview Police Station (PS 5) under PLTCOL Elizabeth Jasmin arrested Alexis Patrocinio, 22 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Greater Fairview, Quezon City, at about 9:30 PM, October 24, 2022, at Lumantad Compound, Brgy. Greater Fairview, Quezon City for violation of R.A. 10591 or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition.

Cubao Police Station (PS 7) under PLTCOL Joseph Euje Almaquer arrested John Christie Santelices Ramos, 34 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Kaunlaran, Cubao, Quezon City, at about 7:40 AM of October 24, 2022, at Planas 1 St., Brgy. Kaunlaran, Cubao, Quezon City for violation of City/Municipal Ordinance No. 671, S-2017.

Anonas Police Station (PS 9) under PLTCOL Ritchie Claravall arrested Mark Enrico Pohl Gravides, 18 y/o, a resident of Brgy. UP Campus, at about 11:40 PM, October 24, 2022, in his residence for Robbery.

Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) under PLTCOL Robert Amoranto arrested Junard Apolintisima, 31 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Bagong Silangan, Quezon City, at about 7:00 PM, October 24, 2022, at Bonifacio St. Brgy. Bagong Silangan, Quezon City for violation of R.A. 8042 or Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995.

Police Station (PS 15) under PLTCOL Norman Florentino served Warrant of Arrest against Mark Vien Viernes, 48 y/o, a resident of Camarin, Caloocan City, at about 11:20AM of October 24, 2022, at Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Custodial Facility, Kamuning, Quezon City for Large Scale Illegal Recruitment under R.A. 8042; Alejandro Pasigan Navarro, 65 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Tatalon, Quezon City, at about 11:30 AM of October 24, 2022, at Metro Manila District Jail-Annex 4, Lower Bicutan, Taguig City for 12 counts of Estafa; and Alexander Navarro, 65 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Tatalon, Quezon City, at about 11:40AM of October 24, 2022, at Metro Manila District Jail-Annex 4, Lower Bicutan, Taguig City for Illegal and Syndicate Recruitment in a Large Scale Penalized under R.A. 8042 otherwise known as Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995.

Pasong Putik Police Station (PS 16) under PLTCOL Vicente Bumalay Jr arrested Dennis Torlao, 33 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Pasong Putik Proper, Quezon City, at about 4:00 PM of October 24, 2022, in his residence for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB) under PLTCOL Geovanny Sibalo in coordination with San Miguel Municipal Police Station, Catanduanes Police Provincial Office, Police Regional Police Office 5 arrested Eddie Camacho, 53 y/o, a resident of Kaliraya St., Brgy. Tatalon, Quezon City, at about 3:20 PM, October 24, 2022, in front of DOJ Building, Quezon City Hall, Quezon City for Homicide.

District Special Operations Unit (DSOU) under PLTCOL Rolando Lorenzo Jr arrested Jexter Jan Rueda Agbayani, 25 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Culiat, Tandang Sora, Quezon City, at about 2:45 PM of October 24, 2022, in his residence for City Ordinance No. 730 S-2019.

The courts of origin will be notified for the arrest of the accused
