Indigenous Peoples (IPs) from the barangay of Sinapulan in Columbio, Sultan Kudarat have received initial agricultural interventions from the Department of Agriculture 12’s Adaptation and Mitigation Initiative (AMIA) Project on January 15, 2021.
A total of 28 native goats were given to the said identified IP farmer-recipients of the said project.
AMIA Project Team Leader Engr. Alkhomine Apad said in his message that their village is considered to be the pilot-area for AMIA Project implementation in the region. This village has undergone a Participatory Rapid Appraisal (PRA), used to develop appropriate technologies identified by the communities, on September 16-18 last year. # # # (DA-RFO XII, RAFIS)
