The Department of Agriculture RFO9 distributed 160 packs of Vegetable Seeds; an 8-in-1 pack vegetable combo, to the Fire Victims in Cabato Road, Barangay Tetuan in Zamboanga City.
DA9 Regional Executive Director Rad Donn L. Cedeño was represented by Zamboanga City – Agriculture Program Coordinator (ZC-APCo) Arnulfo “Nonong” Estrada.
RED Cedeño expressed support in the initiative of the Office of Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” T. Go, DSWD Malasakit program through DSWD ASec Jade Jamolod, and the ZC local government unit headed by Mayor Beng Climaco.
Senator Bong Go joined the activity through his Virtual presence. DSWD also provided family kits and NFA rice to the families.
Of the 247 families displaced during the fire incident on January 06, 2021, 97 are now taking shelter at Tetuan Central School – Evacuation Center. # # # (DA-RFO IX, RAFIS)
