OIC-Regional Executive Director Ms. Vilma M. Dimaculangan turns over to Lipa Agricultural Research and Experiment Station (LARES), headed by Ms. Cynthia DT. Leycano, the newly-built Sprinkler Irrigation System to be used at the station’s demonstration farm on January 13, 2021, in Lipa City, Batangas.
According to Ms. Leycano, the sprinkler irrigation system will help maintain the demo farms by watering the crops and fruit trees as uniformly as possible to fill the crop’s root zone with water.
The demo farm in LARES showcases various fruit trees and crops using modern technologies wherein farmers and agriculture enthusiasts are very much welcome to visit and learn. # # #(DA-RFO IVA, RAFIS)
