Mag-ingat sa mga FB pages na nangangako ng pera, trabaho – DOLE

Naglabas ng babala ang labor department sa publiko laban sa mga pekeng Facebook pages na nangangako ng pera o premyo kapalit ng likes at shares gayundin iyong nag-aalok ng trabaho.

“Beripikahin ang rehistro ng mga nasabing kompanya mula sa mga kinauukulang ahensiya ng pamahalaan bago sila makipag-transaksiyon, lalo na sa pagbibigay ng kanilang impormasyon,” babala ng DOLE.

Nagbigay-paalala ang DOLE matapos nitong aksyunan ang reklamo laban sa isang kompanya na pinangalanang ‘Eternal Investment’ na diumano’y nangangalap ng tao sa Facebook at binibigyan ng trabaho bilang boluntaryo o commission basis.

Ang mga na-recruit ay bibigyan ng posisyon tulad ng executive, manager, at graphic artist.

Batay din sa reklamo, “minamanipula ng ‘Eternal Investment’ ang mga tao at hindi binabayaran ng sapat batay sa kanilang ginawang trabaho bilang volunteer.”

Sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Department of Trade and Industry, napag-alaman na ang ‘Eternal Investment’ ay wala sa listahan ng mga rehistradong negosyo sa DTI.

Hindi rin naka-rehistro ang nasabing kompanya sa Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Para protektahan ang publiko, inilapit ng Bureau of Local Employment ng labor department ang reklamo sa Enforcement and Investor Protection Department ng SEC para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon. ### (GSR/gmea, Information and Publication Service, Department of Labor and Employment)
