Former rebels from the municipality of Tulunan, North Cotabato have received farm tools from the Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA) 12.
In the culmination day of the Peace Building Seminar being conducted by the Cotabato Province, LGU-Tulunan and 39th Infantry Battalion today, a total of PhP 540-thousand worth of garden tools was turned-over by the DA 12.
The said interventions will benefit the 245 beneficiaries coming from the End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC) –priority barangays in their town; the Barangays of Batang, Bacong, Nabundasan, Banayal, Tuburan, and Bituon. # # # (DA-RFO XII, RAFIS)
