Aspiring fisheries scholars from across the country can now apply for the Fisheries Scholarship Program (FSP) offered by the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) for School Year (SY) 2020-2021.

“The scholarship will give these deserving high school graduates the opportunity to pursue their dreams in the field of fisheries in leading state universities. This also gives us the assurance that the country will not run out of competent fisheries professionals who will work for the sustainable development and management of the country’s fisheries and aquatic resources,” BFAR National Director Eduardo B.
