In conjunction with the Director’s Report and 32nd Anniversary Celebration of the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI), outstanding employees of the Institute shared the limelight as they received recognition for their hard work on 25 January 2019 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City.
The DOST-TAPI Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) is responsible in establishing a system of incentives and awards to recognize and motivate employees for their performance and conduct.
Held annually, the PRAISE gives credits to the valuable contributions of the employees in the operations and overall targets set by the Institute.
“The continued support of our employees who really are the foundation to the success of the Institute in the provision of holistic programs gives encouragement to go the extra mile in doing what we do best,” said DOST-TAPI Director Edgar I. Garcia.
The awards include the Flag Raising Award which is given to employees who religiously attend the flag-raising ceremony every Monday at the DOST grounds.
Also, the Loyalty Award is given to employees who have showed commitment and dedication by staying in the Institute.
Finally, the Director’s Award for Excellence is given to employees to recognize their achievement, and exceptional performance, dedication and contributions in support to the Institute’s goal.
