Around 400 blood packs were donated from PUP-Sta. Mesa alone- achieving the goal of providing blood in the leanest month of the year as students, faculty, and members of the community around the campus flocked the University’s blood letting program, January 20 and 21, 2017.

“The University is looking forward to these kinds of events that would surely aid the beneficiaries of the foundation,” said PUP Executive Vice President and VP for Student Affairs and Services  Dr. Hermina Manimtim who says this activity will not only benefit those in need of blood, but also ones donating.

“This would also help the PUP community in keeping their bodies healthy,” Dr. Manimtim added as GMA Kapuso Foundation and the Philippine National Red Cross helped in the proceedings.
